Description:

Reporting directly to the EMEA Presales Director, the Presales Creative will be responsible to provide the following support.

  • Support the Direct & Indirect Sales team with:
    • Innovative concept ideas, technical validations, feasibilities and cost estimation
    • Seek optimum customer/end user satisfaction and act as the primary point of contact for customer technical  questions during the sales process
    • Support sales activities through presentations of TI’s value proposition
    • Revenue generation by quoting accurate time and estimates along with cost effective project

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Explaining the features and benefits of the TI solution portfolio; comparing it to those of a competitor’s products;
  • Delivering product presentations & concept ideas to communication agencies, technical and management personnel
  • Communicating with sales and product managers regarding customer needs.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences;
  • Completing RFI/RFP;
  • Identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Presales requirement specifics:

Build customer quotations in accordance with corporate pricing rules and corporate revenue objectives

Validate with Professional Services the service offer during the presales phase and ensure region compliance with corporate margin guidelines

Provide reliable reporting through the company’s ERP information system

Provide guidance in creative concepting; drive new Augmented Reality concepts taking into account existing and upcoming TI products features

Provide reliable and accurate business reports responding to known corporate guidelines, especially for project reporting.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in engineering and/or computer science or business required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in presales or related field , successful track record of working in Tier 1 account in a Presales Environment would be a plus
  • Mobile development/market knowledge (Ios, Androïd.) would be a REAL plus

TI on the BBC: Augmented reality goes beyond gimmicks for business

Myles Peyton, our Sales Director in the UK, has been interviewed on the BBC earlier this month.

Ecobuild 2011: Augmented Reality Enhances Knauf Product Portfolio

As augmented reality advances in technical capability, an increased range of commercial applications are constantly emerging, identifying new verticals to which the technology can be applied.

Knauf Insulation has enhanced their sales and marketing strategy with AR for Ecobuild 2011 by using augmented reality to demonstrate their residential and commercial insulations product ranges.

The construction industry has flirted with AR before, with sectors such as architecture and planning appearing to have the most obvious synergies. In Knauf’s case the tech was used to expose a difficult and often concealed element of construction, the application of insulation.


Having seen how augmented reality can enhance marketing strategies at events and expos, Knauf approached Hidden to create experiences and AR kiosks for Ecobuild 2011 in an industry first for insulation solutions.
Aside from the augmentations that are being used at the Ecobuild 2011 event, Knauf has commissioned PC and laptop versions of the augmentations in order to equip their sales team with a simple and robust method for demonstrating their product anywhere.


Total Immersion’s partner, Hidden have created three photorealistic 3D renderings of buildings associated to the three desired product sectors. When rotated, the augmentations automatically animate a particular product being applied in a real world situation. The augmentations were distributed across three custom kiosks equipped with HD cameras and 55″ LCD displays. This application allowed the audience to get a close-up and very detailed view of each product. The augmented reality experience has been extended to the Knauf website and visitors were encouraged to take a Knauf information card with which they could control the website augmentation. In-keeping with their green credentials, Knauf now have the option to re-use the technology and equipment following the Ecobuild event. This has been included as part of their sales strategy, allowing a greater return on their investment and ensuring a carbon neutral footprint with regard to the AR components of the campaign.

With a general target to grow your network & exceed defined indirect sales target, UK indirect channel sales manager will be responsible for the following:

The Role:

Total Immersion are looking to scale their business through the indirect channel.  Our D’Fusion technology is a horizontal solution, meaning it can be sold into all verticals.   The role will involve UK and some European travel to identify the right ‘vertical’go to market partner.  You will be responsible for managing the partner relationship and ensure that a win-win ecosystem of partners is developed in the region.  You will transfer the Total Immersion skills and best practices to help the partners secure business opportunities while underlining the value of the ‘right to use’ license business model.  You will be required to deliver product presentations to technical and management personnel while communicating with brand owners regarding their needs.  The role requires a certain creative mind set as you will be listening to customers needs, developing innovative creative experiences, aligning commercial models that fit each client and raise client enthusiasm to a point where they invest.
